LUMNACITY
Advanced Clinical Information Manager (LAC) is a multi-modality, vendor independent information system. LAC is able to receive patient data and study metrics from any 3D Image Reconstruction system such as TeraRecon’s iNtuition or Vitals’ Vitrea Advanced to allow reading physicians to dynamically assemble patient study reports.

Workflow Efficiency
LAC is designed to improve ‘reporting’ workflow efficiency. Generally, other reporting systems are not integrated with 3D Reconstruction systems, leading to copy/pasting or retyping of patient metrics into the final report. This process significantly increases the time needed to generate the report and may also add human error, when a mistake may occur during data entry.
LAC completely removes the need for manual process and greatly speeds up the time needed to produce a report with exactly the same metrics as were measured by the reader at the source.

Workflow Efficiency
LAC is designed to improve reporting workflow efficiency. Generally, other reporting systems are not integrated with 3D imaging servers, leading to copy/pasting or retyping of patient metrics into the final report. This process significantly increases the time needed to generate a final report, and may also add human error into the equation, where a mistake may occur during data entry.
LAC completely removes the need for manual process, and greatly speeds up the time needed to produce a report with exactly the same metrics as were measured by the reader at the source.

Rich Report Experience
Modern 3D Reconstruction Systems allow a reading physician to take screen shots, or export images for inclusion into patient reports. However, inserting images into the report is usually a manual process. Doctors need to navigate to the location where they stored the images and then manually insert them into the report, costing reading physicians substantial time and effort.
With LAC, key images and 3D movies are seamlessly imported from the source 3D reconstruction system, turning old fashioned plain-text reporting into a rich tableau capable of delivering a much richer report – through combination of images, information and metrics, thus propelling medical reporting firmly into the 21st Century.
LAC’s rich reports are faster to read and easier to understand, enhancing communication with referring physicians making the report even more valuable to the entire patient-care team.
Unified Reporting
LAC’s ‘Unified Reporting’ is able to produce a unified, multi-modality report, combining information from several source systems , such as Olympus Endoscopy and Virtual Endoscopy, to enhance understanding, improve communication and reduce paperwork. LAC is integrated with EMR.
Big Data and Analytics
LAC stores report data as discrete data items, and not as one big text document. This means that every single metric in a study can be used in financials, research, teaching and predicting patient outcomes.
Standards
LAC’s support of standards is best in the industry. Not only do we support BI-RADS and LI-RADS, but we have just implemented the latest CAD-RADS protocol, which was just endorsed by the American College of Cardiology. However, LAC can also be customized to allow a client site to use their own, internal standards.
Teaching File System
When a reading physician encounters an interesting study, she can mark this study for inclusion into LAC’s Teaching File System. This way, any Health System is going to be able to build their own teaching library for resident training and lifelong learning. This teaching library is perfectly suited for peer education and personal review. Every library entry will include the report, key images and videos as well discussion, comments and references.
Make More Money, Faster!
Customers use our system’s automation to speed up creation of patient reports, improve workflow and to reduce errors during manual/transcribed data entry. Even if improvements in time efficiency are only 30%, it will still significantly affect the bottom line*.
