Get With the Guidelines® – Stroke Module

Overview

Get With The Guidelines®– Stroke is an in-hospital program for improving stroke care by promoting consistent adherence to the latest scientific treatment guidelines. Since its initiation in 2003, 1,656 hospitals have entered more than two million patient records into the Get With The Guidelines-Stroke database. Numerous published studies demonstrate the program’s success in achieving measurable patient outcome improvements.

Data Submission of Stroke Patient Data

Stroke patient data submission is performed through the American Heart Association’s Patient Management Tool™ (PMT), an online, interactive system provided by Quintiles Real World & Late Phase Research.

This Patient Management Tool is a resource for member Hospital to submit patient data online. However, it’s an extremely burdensome and time consuming process. Your data entry analyst has to scour Patient Record for required data items and then to manually re-enter them into the Patient Management Tool for submission to AHA. This is a long, drawn out process; as the December 2016 Stroke data entry form is twelve (12) pages long! Now imagine doing this for every one of your stroke patients? How much time, money and resources will that take?

Lumnacity’s ‘Stroke Module’ to the Rescue

Lumnacity’s Get With The Guidelines – Stroke Module will integrate directly with your institutions Electronic Health Record and extract patient data required for submission to AHA Patient Management Tool. Lumnacity’s Get With The Guidelines – Stroke Module displays the Patient Information for review to your data entry analyst and allow them to enter or edit the information, if necessary, before moving on to the next patient. Thereafter, our automated Quintiles submission workflow will allow your staff to produce the required and appropriately formatted data file for export to AHA Patient Management Tool automatically, with just one mouse click! This will greatly reduce the time, money and effort required for data submission to American Heart Association’s ‘Get With The Guidelines’ program!

Lumnacity – Your Partner for the Long Haul

American Heart Association frequently changes their patient questionnaires. Sometimes two or three times per year. These changes may require additional Patient data to be pulled from your institution’s Electronic Health Record.

This is not a problem, Lumnacity got you covered – with frequent updates and new releases. Lumnacity – your partner for the long haul!
